Firstly, call Zurich’s claims department to notify them regarding the accident. Then, report the accident to the police to secure a conviction against the offender. If there are any claims against you from the third party, immediately inform Zurich’s claims department and provide them with proof.
After making the necessary report, you will have to complete a Claim Form and submit it to Zurich within 21 days from the notified day together with any relevant documents. Finally, send your car to any of Zurich’s car repair shop for them to inspect and give approval for repair.
The documents you will need to provide to make a claim are:
Road tax, etc.
If you are not physically disabled or hospitalised from the accident, you have to report the claim within 7 days to be able to get a claim from Zurich. However, in the unlikely event of an accident which causes you to be physically disabled or hospitalised, you have 30 days to report to Zurich and get the claim.
