If You Somehow Urgently Need Money, You're Going to Need THIS App's Help!

Updated 07 Feb 2019 – By Loanstreet

Have you ever been in urgent need of extra cash but was unable to come up with the funds on time? The conventional method was to apply for a personal loan and then await approval from the banks. There will be times when you do not get the amount that you require, or the bank does not allow for a particular sum because it falls below the permitted threshold.

What can I do then?

There's now a handy app called GoodKredit (GK) for Malaysians to secure direct access to quick cash assistance. GK’s focus lies solely on small amounts of money, instead of the large quantities which you see on offer from banks and the likes. The loans range from RM1,000 onwards and are capped at RM5,000 per borrower.

The repayment terms for this small-time loan is currently set at 6 months, and what makes it so much more attractive is the all-time low interest rate of just 15% per annum. This places GoodKredit at a tier that is lower than that of regular banks! GoodKredit would also still consider lowering the rate further, depending on the circumstances and the scenario.

Best of all, there are NO processing fees, upfront charges or stamp duty for all approved loans!

The steps to apply for the microloan are as simple as A-B-C, just follow the  4 steps below:

  1. First, sign up. Download the Goodkredit Malaysia app and create your account.
  2. Then, select the loan. You can find it at the bottom of the homepage and choose a sponsor. Fill in your personal information as required. Once complete, tap “Next” to proceed.
  3. After that, enter your details i.e. the amount you need and the repayment period (capped at 6 months)*. Fill up all other required information, and upload your NRIC copy. Once done, click “Apply Loan”.
  4. To complete the process, you need to email a copy of your documents to malaysia@goodkredit.com
*Repayment period of 9 months for those with good credit standing.

What else can I use GK for?

One of the services which the GK app can be used for is for mobile credit top-up and payment of bills. GoodKredit’s partnership with MOL (or Money Online, a portal for purchasing a wide variety of online games, gaming points, products and services from around the world) ensures that users are allowed to pay all their utility bills through GK. The good news: all these payments come with no additional charges!

GoodKredit is definitely one of the best apps for you to solve your micro financial worries or when you need quick cash. What are you waiting for? Download the app now from Appstore or Playstore and start exploring! And if you’re on the lookout for the conventional type of loan, check out Loanstreet’s loan comparison page in order to compare and choose the right one for you.
