DISCLOSURE OF CREDIT INFORMATION

I/We the undersigned (“Customer”) authorise [Finology Sdn Bhd], its affiliates or subsidiaries (collectively “Company”) to access or obtain any data or information from credit reporting agencies, Bank Negara Malaysia, a credit bureau and/or the Central Credit Reference Information System for the purposes of evaluating the Customer’s credit standing in connection with this application. For such purposes, the Customer also authorises CTOS Data Systems Sdn Bhd (“CTOS”) or Experian (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (“Experian”), registered credit reporting agencies under the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010 (“CRA”), to conduct credit/trade check, CCRIS and DCHEQUE checks on me and disclose such credit information/report relating to the Customer to the Company for the purposes of this application.

And the customer also authorises the Company to obtain customer’s necessary information and materials from the including but not limited to, the particulars of the customer i.e the copy of identification card of such customer, or other information and materials as may be required by the Company from the Property Developer.

The Customer agrees that the Company may share the Customer’s credit information with other banks, (collectively, “Third Party”) including but not limited to processing centres and other information-sharing databases. The Customer further agrees that the Company and/or the Third Party shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from its disclosure of information or the processing thereof.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT 2010 (“PDPA”)

The Company is committed to protecting the confidentiality of our Customer’s personal information. If the customer agrees to use Finology’s Eligibility Checking or Loan Application Services, we may require the customer to provide us with some personal information, including your name, age, and contact information. Where applicable, we may also require that you provide us with your personal financial information, including information on your job, income, assets and liabilities. Such personal data provided will be used in accordance with our Privacy Notice and may be disclosed to our credit reporting agencies and third party providers whose products are listed on our website or app such as property developer and mortgage bankers.

I/we agree that I/we have read and understood the Company’s Privacy Notice and hereby consent to the Company collecting, processing and using my personal data as stated above and I/we understand that I/we have the right to access my personal data and seek to have it amended, if necessary, in accordance with the PDPA and its relevant subsidiary legislation.

I/we understand that Finology is nominated to monitor my loan application status, select and filter the banks and route to their assigned bankers based on my/our personal information. I/we consent mortgage bankers to share the loan application status with Finology to complete the loan application services. I/we also authorise the Company to share/disclose a copy of my/our customer report to the property developer, panel bankers and panel lawyer if necessary to complete the loan application services. I/we allow Finology to contact me/us to collect further information if required.

Further, I/we authorise the Company to obtain and/or disclose my/our Credit Information or Credit Report (as defined in the CRA) from/to CTOS/Experian and also authorise CTOS/Experian to disclose such Credit Information or Credit Report to the Company for the purposes as stated herein.
