Affected customers can reach out to Tune Protect Malaysia’s hotlines, email, and social media channels for guidance on claims. At the same time, Tune Protect is also reaching out to customers via SMS and emails to advise them on the claim process.
Besides that, policyholders who are affected by the floods would not need to make a police report or present any documents for claims involving their motor vehicles, residential and commercial properties.
For any inquiry on flood claims, customers can contact 1800 228 863 for Motor Claims and 03 7989 0310 for Property Claims. Emails can also be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org for further clarification.
Additionally, customers are encouraged to add on special perils coverage into their motor insurance to ensure that their vehicles are covered comprehensively against unforeseen natural calamities such as floods, landslides, typhoons, hurricanes, and other convulsions of nature that may occur in the future.
